Favourite Things: Kitchen Beats worktop savers from Joseph Joseph

I must admit, I’m feeling a bit delicate today. Last night was our annual IPC Awards ceremony and my alter ego – Ideal Home’s Savvy Shopper – was shortlisted in the Best Reviews Pages category. While I/she didn’t win, it was an honour to make the cut, and the IH girls celebrated with a few glasses of wine. Never mind, there’s always next year, and at least our wonderful Housetohome.co.uk won Website of the Year. Hurrah!
Right, time to put my Girl About Tech hat back on. Well sort of. These Kitchen Beats glass worktop savers from Joseph Joseph might not have the plug my manifesto demands, but I won’t hold it against them, since their gadget-inspired designs are right up my alley. They’ll cost you significantly less than a new sound system, too – £10 for the 20 x 30cm Cassette and £16 for the 30 x 40cm Boom Box board.
They’re made from dishwasher-safe toughened glass with non-slip rubber feet, and I’d highly recommend you buy one. Chop, chop!
