Sneaky peek: PrimaDonna S coffee machines – in colour!

Some people would celebrate a momentous occasion with a party, perhaps with cake, some balloons, a glass of wine… but not De’longhi. To mark the sale of 3,000,000 of its PrimaDonna S bean-to-cup coffee machines, the company has gone and launched eight new colours. So no fuss, then.
My favourites are (from left to right) Blueberry, Vanilla Yellow and Mint Green, but there’s also a Coconut White, Cinnamon Brown, Pepper Grey, Black Liquorice and Red Fruits.
Measuring H441mm x W238mm x D345mm, the PrimaDonna S won’t take up as much space on your counter as rival bean-to-cup models, and it’s really easy to use. A patented milk carafe will froth and heat the milk for your drink, and dispense it, too, so you’re able to make a scrummy Macchiato or Cafelatte by pressing a single button.
You can even programme the prescription for your perfect cup with the ‘My Coffee’ function that memorises the ideal strength and length of coffee, milk and froth. Clean up is just as easy – all De’Longhi PrimaDonna machines have an auto-rinse and de-scale feature, with an auto-clean button to clean the milk carafe.
The De’Longhi PrimaDonna S colour collection will be available exclusively from John Lewis and Harrods for £1,195 by the end of March.
